We feel very blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There is so much variety and so many wonderful places to visit. Lochcarron is uniquely placed on the West Coast. It is less than an hour’s drive from Skye and Lochalsh, from Torridon and Kinlochewe and Loch Maree. In just over an hour you can be in Gairloch or Inverness. Our views are stupendous, there are some wonderful places to stay, great places to eat and the West Highlands is rightly famed for the welcome that visitors receive.

A visit to Torridon is highly recommended as well as the gorgeous Loch Torridon itself there are three stunning mountains dominating the landscape: Beinn Alligin, Liathach and Beinn Eighe. There are lots of great places to visit including the Loch Torridon Centre which includes a lovely wee gallery and now incorporates the wonderful Wee Whistle Stop Café and the Torridon Stores and Café

A short trip to Gairloch has to include a visit to the GALE Centre the absolutely stunning new Gairloch Heritage Museum and the world famous Inverewe Gardens
